There are a number of ways you can get involved with YOH Fest and volunteering is one of them – plus its great fun!
In addition to the core student event coordinators, about 35 youth volunteers participate in the organisation of YOH Fest each year. The volunteer group not only gains valuable self esteem, peer respect, increased cultural tolerance and a wide range of practical life-skills, they are also hosted on a week-long leadership development program. In this way,YOH Fest is making a contribution to the development of health-aware youth leaders and the future leadership pool in WA.
We also would love to hear from you if you are from regional areas, as we also require a pool of youth volunteers to assist with the organisation of our regional heats. So what are you waiting for…
